The 4th-year ESO students have demonstrated their creativity and talent in the English for Life workshop by taking part in a short story competition. In this activity, the teacher provided the beginning of the story, and each team had to continue and develop it collaboratively in English.

The winning team stood out for their teamwork and their ability to build a solid story from an initial idea. As Noelia explains, “I didn’t expect at all that the beginning of the story would be about a lighthouse,” which became a surprising starting point for developing the narrative.

For Raquel, the key to success was clear: “teamwork was essential to create the story.” In fact, internal organization was crucial: “María structured the idea, and the rest of us added the details,” says Paula, highlighting how each member contributed to the final result.

However, not everything was easy. María admits that “it was quite a challenge because the story was already very structured,” which required coherence and creativity to continue it.

Despite the difficulties, the experience was very positive. Lucía says she really enjoyed working with her classmates and feels proud of everything they achieved together.

All five agree on one thing: they wouldn’t change anything about their story, reflecting their satisfaction with the work they accomplished.

Without a doubt, it was an enriching experience that combined learning, creativity, and teamwork.
